I think I've realized most restaurants are a scam. It makes sense to buy cheap food (fast food, bars), or very expensive food but most everything is just the same SYSCO slop made by high schoolers or addicts

One old lady (born before women lost the ability to cook) is always going to blow anything you can get at a restaurant out of the water.

Mamma is only cooking one meal, she can spend all afternoon making it, and she doesn't need to turn a profit.

But restaurants have their place, and you'll probably appreciate them more if you accept that most of them are just a vehicle to sell you overpriced booze.
