i never eaten a morel but i bought some chanterelles semi-recently and sauteed em up w garlic and olive oil and holy shit that was bomb.

Mushrooms are cool like that the best edible mushrooms can't really be culitviated. Morels, chanterelles, and truffles and shit like that have to be caught in the wild

Chanterelles are my favorite mushroom ever, but I don't think they grow in my part of the country.
