Fried them up together in a pan with some olive oil and an egg then ate it.

Unfortunately I think it was just the weather wasn't right this year. It jumped from the 40s to the mid 70s this year, with a sudden hard freeze. My lilac didn't really bloom either this year.
I usually dump some ashes from my fire pit and don't rake the areas where they grow. The last couple years I've got soda can sized morels out of the spots.
