I've never had food poisoning before and I'm at the point where I'm convinced I'm invulnerable and can just eat whatever, anyone else pizzashillmaxxing

Food poisoning SUCKS. I've only had it twice ever, and that's been the two sickest times of my life. It's like every normal sickness combined into one, like having the flu plus constantly throwing up plus diarrhea plus fever. Would not recommend.

Restaurants usually get their food in thursday/friday cos it's busiest. The seafood in the Wednesday hotpot will be a week old and too rancid to serve outside a soup

Thats good. You should take up canning your own food. You can save money by not pasteurizing.

I've been banned from /r/canning before so you got me there tbh

Someone posted panicked because the subreddit said the method her 85 year old grandma has used to make jam her whole life (open kettle) isn't USDA approved and I said it's probably not worth taking something her grandma enjoys away from her if it hasn't hurt her thus far :marseyjelly:

Bad news is she died of Botulism. Good news is her corpse looks 20 years younger.

What cute twinks lmao. This is why I feel the need to ask this question, some of these food things get overblown. My grandpa is in his mid 90s and microwaved inside plastic bags like every day of his life :marseyradioactive:
