I'm crying tears of joy, something wonderful happened

I found an american diner, it's so tasty if you don't have a nigga breathing down your ear about soyslop.
I cannot believe the flavours, everything is so sweet and huge in portion sizes, yet so cheap!
Free refills too! And… pic.twitter.com/l1mMBADetM
I cannot believe the flavours
Lad's not even in America and he's still managing to suck them off
Whoever opens a Denny's in central london is going to be mega rich

This is why the entire third world wants to move here.

I always thought it was weird that American diners didn't catch on over here. There's one single Denny's and it's in Cardiff and it has terrible reviews.

Stuff like Little Chef or greasy spoons would have been our equivalent. We don't eat out anywhere near as much as Americans and the country isn't big enough that needing somewhere to stop off on a roadtrip is needed as much either. Whetherspoons breakfasts probably cover off the audience that would want a diner

50% taxes means you have half as much money and food is twice as expensive.

Greeks here all open Gyros places

Huh. Wonder where they got the idea to make bacon and eggs in every American town.

Kebabs/Gyros just seems to be a way bigger thing in Europe than America

Yeah doners in Germany were so much better than anything I can get at home. I think it's because gyros in the US are largely seen as trash fast food, and all the gyro shops buy the same meat as each other, so there's really no soul in it. Still good when you're in the mood, just not the same at all. We did get a doner place in my town a few years ago that's pretty decent though, surprisingly enough.

It's what happens when you live in a Muslim country

Umm I think you will find that Gyros and Kebabs are from Greece and Turkey, a Christian and secular country respectively

Sorry king, I should have clarified. When you open a store in a Muslim country (Saudi Arabia, France, the UK for example) kebab and its downstream meals are enjoyed

Honestly Kebabs are more of a drunk white people food here, it's when you see the knock off KFCs you know you've entered a Muslim neighborhood.

most diners aren't good and aren't meant to be good, idk why you'd import it unless it's for some 50's aesthetic

hard to beat the well established greasy spoons that are in every town serving sausage and beans

I don't think they really exist as much anymore, it's more hotels and Wetherspoons. There's a hole in the market for a family-friendly all day diner.

You still see them sometimes but they're basically only frequented by truckers.
