How much liquid makes it a soup? I've had runny chili which would be soup(y) to your standard and I've had thick curries where it's more of a sauce.

But more importantly: do you like curry? What's your favorite kind? :marseyindiarentfree:

I typically consider chili a stew. You raise a good point, but to quote a great man "I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be embraced within that shorthand description ["hard-core chili"], and perhaps I could never succeed in intelligibly doing so. But I know it when I see it.."

Thia curry! :marseylickinglips: red pineapple curry with shrimp is my favorite but I love them all.

red pineapple curry with shrimp

That's a good pick. Anything with pineapple :marseypizzaslice: or mango in it is usually good. Pinoys dip the sour green Indian mangos into bagoong (fermented shrimp paste, kinda like fish sauce but less bitter more sweet) and it's actually kinda great. Popular and traditional snack. :marseyslurpfast: Which makes it strange it's not a more popular variant of curry since we're already using two of the ingredients. :marseyhmm:
