i sometimes put the catsup and mustard on the bun first especially if im gonna add onions/jalepeΓ±os/relish as well it adds extra room and those ingredients stay on the bun better

My oma used to either do whatever dark mustards were around and some onions, my brats are actually best served with potatoes and nutmeg'd steamed spinach. It's bs good.
