You're French, which means you're at least a little gay. :marseydeux:

The French invented front wheel drive and that makes them problematic.

I always knew the French had a hand in Paul Walker's death.

All French are strags. They settle for gussy after years of pounding bussy. Been that way since the 20s.

Seriously, have you seen the Frenchoid's fertility rates?

They frick ”women” with armpit hair. Ipso facto the french are straggos. :marseyfrenchitsover2:

~9 months, if we're talking exclusivity. And that was back in college. I was practically a baby. :marseywhirlyhat:

Unfortunately, when I was young, marriage just wasn't an option. If it had been, I'd've probably settled down. But it never even occurred to me that it might become legal in my lifetime. Combine that with a job that involved a lot of travel for most of my 20s and all of my 30s, and "long-term" relationships weren't even something I considered. By the time Obergefell v. Hodges was decided, I was in my mid-40s and firmly set in my ways. :marseybabushka:

I really do hope that as children who have lived their entire life with gay marriage as an option grow up and have relationships, marriage will become more common. But looking at the declining rate of straight marriages, it doesn't seem likely. :marseydepressed:

Chin up and don't worry about other people's marriage rates. It's mostly weighed down by r-slurs anyway.

Assuming you haven't blown your savings on manwhores and coke, keep your BMI no higher than +3 of whatever you are and get back out there. Men want someone of financial standing but also confidence in themselves. It depends on where you live, but there are gay clubs that aren't bars ("associations" is probably a better word).* You have to live and enjoy life amongst your own. Cafes, non-profit events and their clubs, heck even Groupon. You'll meet people who know others, and your connections will spread.

You can't feel like you've lost this opportunity without putting more effort into it. I'm not sure what your work-life balance is, but maybe it requires adjustment for your future self.

Don't feel hopeless because you'll find what you want with pure grit and manly determination. Focus on whatever counter-productive habits or what not are hindering you from this goal and distance yourself from them.

!lgbt :marseyheart: !cuteandvalid (weirdos! :marseybeandefiant:), if you've got advice for our fellow dramastrag, please share.

*I know of several older gay men who spend a lot of time at bars and clubs, and they have fun but remain sad. Unless they're with a good boyfriend or husband, they're fooling themselves. :marseydeadinside2: Cute twinks are a plenty at such places, but it's like finding marriage material at a whorehouse for straggots. Don't get me wrong. You'll meet people, and maybe something good will come of it in the long-run, but :marseysweating:.

Oh no, I'm not worried about me. I'm an old man with no intention of getting married. Not much point at my age. I'm fine with my various casual relationships. :marseyhomofascist:

It's the younger generations I worry about. I make fun of Zoomers, but like it or not, they're the future. God help us all. :marseyzoomerimplosion:

I have to ask: are you sure you wish to die alone?

I hate to say it, but hopefully your casuals won't abandon you later in life.

Fortunately, I have a large family. Plenty of nieces, nephews, cousins, etc. I've never once worried about dying alone. :marseylovegigaorgy:

But that's another reason I do worry about the younger generations. I see so many Millennials and Zoomers willing to cut off their family at the drop of a hat. When everything else falls away, family is all you've got. To cut them out of your life just because you had an argument about something you won't even remember in a few months... :marseydeadinside3:

But then I remember it's mostly Mayos that do that, and I cheer right up. :marseywholesome:

Just because the government didn't give you some financial benefits for your relationship doesn't mean you can have a long-term relationship. But homos can't stop themselves from piss orgies and 100 partners per year

About 6 months. Dating with the goal of a long-term relationship but realising that I really wasn't that into them. Feels bad because I kind of led them on I think. But I was young and it was my first few relationships while I was figuring it out.

As cliche as it is, I've looked into attachment theory etc and I'm the ambivalent (anxious-avoidant) type which is the worst kind. I really want the intimacy but it gets to a point where it freaks me out, so I panic and torpedo the entire thing. It's all normal and good right before that point.

Basically I need to be really into a securely-attached stable guy to be able to stick it out long enough for him to fix me. Preferably using methods both with AND without his peepee.

In any case I'm going on lots of first dates via apps and trying to meet people out but deciding against going on very few second dates. Not really into wasting time with confirmed duds anymore hoping I'll feel the spark on date 2.
