So yeah, gym selfie would be appropriate.
Some guys will insist on seeing your face before chatting, others will ask for it after you've said hey/they've seen your peepee, so putting your face right on your profile or keeping it in an album you share is mostly a matter of how discreet you want to be.

People hiding their face in anything other than nudes always makes me roll my eyes. Neighbor, we're about to frick. I'm gonna know what you look like. As long as it isn't a picture you absolutely do not want to risk being shared with your face attached (like a nude), just show yourself.
