Me when I was 20 was so much different than me at 18. It's one thing if you had a high school sweet heart and kept dating even though one graduated a year earlier. Any other situation, it's just fricking weird to date someone still in high school. Even when i was 21, 18 and 19 year olds were obviously less mature acting. I had a degree at 22, 18/19 year olds were an entire lifetime behind me at that point

That's pretty context dependent. I don't see why anyone would want to date a high schooler that they didn't know before they themselves graduated high school except wanting to frick her and using the girl wanting to go to college parties to get there, so kinda weird, but there are a ton of situations where 22 and 19 wouldn't be weird at all.

it's purely experience dependent, and it was my experience that kids that age mature rapidly and the difference between between me and people only a few years younger than me were vast. I hung out with older people in college, and don't know how they put up with me. I cringe thinking about how dumb i was. When I was a senior in college, they switched their suggested order to take some classes which resulted in freshman and seniors in engineering taking certain electives at the same time. I was in some bs intro to psychology class and even with senioritis, couldn't stand how half butt the freshman I got paired with wanted to do projects. It literally felt like babysitting. I couldn't imagine even wanting to date them and one was pretty hot.
it would be hard for me to relate to a 19 year old at 22. 22 year old me totally went after some younger girls, and it took me until about 24 to figure out that the maturity level mattered at least as much as how hot they were

Your older friends probably enjoyed hanging out with you at least somewhat because they thought your shenanigans were endearing, but either way I don't think that's the experience of age you were seeing, it was just typical freshman getting their first taste of independence and acting stupid, probably going crazy partying. I guarantee there were plenty of women around who preferred to stay in and study that you may have gotten along with better. That type of compatibility leads to committed and long-term relationships much more than age. A 21 year old homebody woman with little interest in the "party life" and 28 year old man with little interest in the "party life", even if he acted differently at her age, would probably be a more successful relationship than the same man dating a 26 year old who still likes to hit the bars every weekend, for another example.
“Lol women at 30 are much more mature and chill than a 20 year old”
No the frick they aren't, the female brain develops properly and is forever overly emotional.
Dr. Brizendine explains that the male amygdala, which also controls sexual thought, is twice as large as that of females. Fueled by testosterone, it triggers the typical teenage male brain to think about s*x every 52 seconds, compared to a few times a day for teen girls.
"When I hang out with my guy friends, it's really odd to think that every, like, whatever seconds, they're thinking about s*x," said high school student Sara Johnson. "And that you can't stop them from thinking about that."
Are Girls Really More Emotional?
When it comes to emotions, Dr. Brizedine says girls have their own area that's twice as large as boys' -- the hippocampus, which is the seat of emotional memory. The female brain uses many centers in both hemispheres that activate in response to faces, voices and expressions. Men, however, use only one side of their brain.
…girls, she explained, physically receive pleasure through the simple act of gossiping.
(I'm actually joking, maturity varies wildly by individual by on average women that are like 25+ with a grad degree are less insufferable….or they get 10 times worse)
Occasionally I see some age gap relationship like some 40 year old with a 20 year old or something. I always lol thinking about the shit he has to put up with just to live out his young gf fantasy

I despise teenagers, the idea of spending time alone with one sickens me
