A new year is here, and I thought it would be neat to trade skincare routines/products and discuss them. Perhaps we can get some good recommendations from each other!
For mine:
Current Daily cocktail:
COSRX Snail 92 All-in-one cream
Tretinoin 0.025% cream
Melazepam (Azelaic acid)
Galactomyces essence
Moisturize throughout the day with Hada Labo gokujyun hydrating lotion
I try to do a chemical peel at least one a week, try do have IPL treatments every 4-6 months.
Anyone else have some GOAT products or regimens that they wanna share?

I get Botox every 3-4 months & tear trough filler as needed (haven't needed to redo yet, I'm on 13 months—can last years).
Also use tretinoin and previously took accutane.
Paula's choice for SPF. Cerave/cetaphil for moisturizers and cleaners. La Roche Posay was recommended by dermatologists a lot on /r/accutane (causes really bad dry skin) so might switch for moisturizer when I'm done with what I've got.
Learned the hard way not to overspend on snake oil and go for Rx!
Edit: I'm 35 and iirc you're much younger. Don't get Botox etc until you're into your 30s or it'll age you!!

Since you've had the tear troughs done, let me ask you this: I've gotten two injections done (Volbella, one syringe for both eyes) and it looks great after 2-3 days…then it looks like I've had little done. Is my injector going too little with the amount, or is this something you experience when you get it? Wondering if I need to up the number of syringes

Ok? I mean it's not like my question was that stupid, though. I mean, all three options I gave were probably equally likely, although using context clues I probably should have figured it out. I have some latent narcissistic tendencies but I also have some self-confidence issues so I think they balance each other out. still seems crazy to get fillers when you're still in school :/ can't be that hard to look young, I was max r-slurred 0 skincare sleep with makeup on no pillowcase chain smoker slash substance enjoyer etcetc for over a decade and people regularly say I look really young

I also got volbella for under eye. I needed two (waited two weeks between treatments) but I have VERY VERY deep tear troughs. The first few days includes some swelling as I'm sure you know. It also didn't feel “enough” for me once swelling went down but comparing pictures there's a huge difference. It's so hard to judge your own face because you see it all the time.

I don't think I'd do it again, but I was so young that it wasn't really my choice. idk if it prevented my acne from getting worse, but I started on it pretty much when I started breaking out and was on for almost a year. On the other hand, neither of my little sisters did it and one of them had pretty terrible acne into her 20s.

i'm like 8 years out from accutane and still get scaly if i don't go hardcore with my skincare too. i had (have?) an allergy to dairy that'd break me out in cysts and the accutane cured it which seems like a miracle to me tbh. you don't realize how dairy is in literally everything until you have to quit it, it's in fricking dry roasted peanuts

Im a dude and I've been using Cerave Hydrating cleanser for a month. My skin's definetly gone clean (I have combination type with mostly oil rather than flakey). But while my breakouts aren't happening anymore, I still have old acne on my cheekbones that are stubborn and dry. Would you recommend sarasylic acid cleanser as a remedy?
