SNL humor is very specific. It can't be too edgy so they exaggerate the reactions and faces instead. Loud voices so your boomer audience clearly hears the joke.

Honorary mention: The Jennifer Anniston how to make it as artist @ Rutgers bit was way more over the top and he kept it up for like 30 minutes until all the black people left the room.

The rutgers talk is good (maybe the best thing sam's made?) because sam hyde is being extremely genuine and high energy here. his backstory is that he is 2x art degree stragget who worked in bullshit art field (I think making like digital art for sports arenas) that had to learn how to be a man himself. The "good art is already made" part that starts at 51:25 comes from the heart and is like the biggest 4th wall break of the "wacky ironic sam hyde character": that two and a half minutes pretty much encapsulates his motivations and everything he really believes as a person. And the whole thing is like an hour of half of back-to-back original jokes.
The OP's post is like comedy done by some 90IQ rightoid grifter who just copies jokes directly from 4chan and plays them off poorly. It is a single, like 10 year old joke agonizingly played out over several minutes while 50 people at desks ignore the loudly screeching cute twink.

The only reason to watch these bits at this point is for the reactions of other people; the councilman's vocal reaction was just mild annoyance, and the few people we can see in the video basically ignore him. The most dramaphilic scenario is for him to get bullied over his "comedy", I bet this guy would handle it about as well as Josh Denny did.
