The DNC endorsed her, not Biden. And they did it because they had hundred of millions of dollars in donations that only Biden or Kamala could use. And they also did it because they wanted Kamala the whole time and they knew she wouldn't be able to survive a primary. How does anyone square this shit away with the fact that they obviously wanted Biden to tank in a debate before he had a chance to grab the nomination? They wanted Kamala and they wanted to give her as little clock as possible to frick it up. And she still did it. Have fun in California, kam-kam.

Okay but the new candidate is not allowed to communicate with thie new fund holders in any capacity, am I right? The new candidate's team would have to be completely removed with how the funds are used?

Again, it depends on exactly what money we are talking about. All things considered (including the new rounds of funding a new candidate would warrant) the dem ticket would end up with more money, not less

Actually, I can't even pretend my point isn't flawed. Now that I think about it, I can't say, "the DNC is in control of everything that happens" and then say, "well the money can't be used unless a third-party outside of the candidates control uses it".. I'll give that to you.

They can't give it to another candidate but they could just give it all to the DNC directly. It's a grey area with accusations of such being used as slush funds but still. Worst case they give it to charities of Biden's/Kamala's key issues who could make PACs of their own and spend it there.
