I think the election legitimately broke the DNC's brains. They spent the last year saying that if Trump was elected it would be the end of elections and he would install a fascist dictatorship and refuse to leave office. Now that he won it's just, "Uhhhh yeah about that, the best way to fight fascism is to give us all of your money. Please."

They created a schism between the old guard who used apocalyptic imagery to win the next election, and the prog insanity new guard who they were trying to appeal to who legitimately believe all that stuff.
It's why we get so many funny reddit posts of roughly, 'Trump evil! But Dems no longer acting like Trump evil, just that Trump other team. But they said Trump evil too! My brain hurt now!'

So, what I'm talking about doing right now? Is based on long-standing work. It's not .. new. But as president of the United States, part of why ...... it is important is, it is a new approach to that job. It is about a new way that is based on a new generation of leadership? That is based on new ideas, and frankly a different experience. That brings my commitment to the work I'm talking about. Um.. into being.
