Spergs on TV are written more like children in an adult body with a superpower rather than someone who's actually neurodivergent. There's never any moment where they e.g. start talking about your genitals out of nowhere or some other thing that's awkward in an unpleasant way which is a daily occurrence with irl autists

Funnily enough one of the best depiction of a sperg I've seen on TV was on a Taiwanese show (including a scene where he walks away from an argument, has a full on sperg out in his car and then comes back)
