Live PD was the best. I’m usually not one for reality TV but Live PD was a go to during long shifts and A&E was always on the TVs so I’d watch

You should check it out on Philo. It is exactly the same minus Tom Morris Jr. His replacement is not as great but Sticks and Dan are still there. The episodes are 3 hours long and air every Friday and Saturday at 9est.

Have you ever seen that one episode where the cop gets a call about a fire at an old woman’s house and it’s at night so he rushes there to get her out? He runs out of his car and starts banging on her door but she doesn’t answer so he takes his baton and begins smashing out the glass in this lattice window and yelling but still no answer. Eventually the camera guy asks if he’s sure he has the right address before turning around and showing the house across the street completely engulfed in flames.

I remember when Doom 3 came out some dev discovered if you decompress this giant gb file which represented most of the space the game loaded 10x faster. Instead of compressing stuff in parts structured by use they did one massive compressed file which took forever to access. Proper compression is always an after thought in gaming.

Jesus, I've had no issues. Either only get WD Red, or the WD Elements or Seagate IronWolfs. Server grade, design for constant reads but not as much writing. Which is good for movies and shows.

I have several in the 12-14 TB range still going strong after years. I've finally had one of my 4TB drives fail after 8-9 years. It had a good run, the rest of them are still going actually.
At some point I'm gonna get a new batch of 20TB drives and get rid of the 4TB ones tho.

I think so, although I don't really know the difference. I know the reds are explicitly designed for server use, whereas the blacks iirc are supposed to be "high performance HDDs" which is an r-slured concept these days because anything you'd use a WD black for you'd just use an SSD instead (they come in sizes up to 8TB these days lmao)
