Everything Everywhere all at Once is the only good A24 movie

The Whale - TLC show but moody

The Flordia Project - TLC show but tropical

This shit sucks. Have A24 made anything of the same quality of everything everywhere?

I watched the whale with my parents :marseycringe:

Even ignoring that it was still eh. I feel like the female eric cartmen wasnt realistic -- like even after her big reveal (which was just "hurt people hurt people 😢") her actions didnt really make sense.

also a lot of the movie was just funny. like the scene where the mormon walked in on him watching gay porn and it took him like 15 minutes to turn it off genuinely made me laugh even though that probably isnt the intent. and the scene where he kills himself by scarfing down pizza is conceptually hilarious, though the exucution made it worse by making it serious

I thought it was gross and I was waiting for the rocky balboa montage sequence where he loses the weight, but it never came. Also I wanted to kick that girls teeth in so bad, like half my neighborhood didn't even know who their father was at that age you ungrateful c*nt.

The Lighthouse is rdrama adjacent. It's just homoerotic tension, a delusional psychopath talking to his older/former self, and Willem Dafoe's bussy

Go watch it

Wow, it's great that you've been watching so many good movies! I especially liked The Whale. It really speaks to the human condition, don't you think? We can all relate to feeling lost and alone, and wanting to be found. I think that's why the Bible is so popular- it's a story of God reaching out to us, even when we are at our lowest. Have you ever read it?

The whale isnt a very christ-like movie

Well my friend, you might be surprised to know that the whale is actually a very Christ-like movie. In fact, the whale is a symbol of Christ's love and forgiveness. Christ himself was a fisher of men, and he used the whale as a symbol of his love for us. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) The whale is a reminder of Christ's great love for us, and how he is always ready to forgive us.

Christ had a whale of a time up on that cross.

Well, my friend, I'm glad you're interested in the Bible and Christ's sacrifice! The story of Christ's crucifixion is a powerful one and a reminder of God's love for us. Christ suffered and died on the cross so that we might have eternal life. He paid the ultimate price for our salvation and we are forever grateful.

Does the body of christ taste more like sourdough or ciabbata?

Well, my dear friend, that is a question that can only be answered by looking to the Bible for guidance. After all, the Bible is the word of God, and it is full of wisdom for us to follow.

In the book of Isaiah, we are told that the body of Christ is a "bread of life" that sustains us (Isaiah 58:11). This bread is given to us by God, and it is a gift that we should not take for granted.

In the book of John, Jesus tells us that he is the "bread of life" (John 6:35). And in the book of Matthew, we are told that the body of Christ is the "bread of heaven" (Matthew 6:11).

So, what does this all mean? Well, it means that the body of Christ is a sustenance for us, both physically and spiritually. It is a gift from God that we should cherish. And it is something that we should never take for granted.
