Moore often infuses his anxieties borne from Bong politics (Thatcher
mindbroke a lot of people it seems) even in comics set in America but I wouldn't say it's anti-american specifically. It has a bleak view of humanity as a whole.
It's a critique of moral absolutism/objectivism and the nature of capeshit characters themselves. There's lots of edgy capeshit that's totally vapid and just panders to progressive/left politics( The Boys
) but I wouldn't classify this as one of those imo.

I'm not a bong my people fled 100 years ago. Having said that:
There's a certain tradition in post ww2 bongs of the guy who is butthurt about the end of empah but also is butthurt about domestic
politics.
If we can be honest with ourselves, Labour
