He's been a considerably better director since then :tayshrug:. You could maybe argue Memento is his best script still but overall I see nothing but improvement.

My neighbor :marseysnappynraged: in Christ:

he's better :marseysaulgoodman: at all the important stuff but not minor :marseyminer: details like the script

:marseysurejan: Direction, editing, score are all important and arguably more important than the script when combined. You would have a point if I said his screenplays have turned to shit :marseysquint: . To give an example, I would put Oppenheimer one notch below Memento on Screenplay but several notches above in everything else. Hence, overall a better film.

Even in terms of scripts the prestige is better anyway.

I just coincidentally was flipping :marseyfuckyou: channels on tv and saw the opening of Watchmen. This is some of the most vile millennial trash :marseyopossum: I've ever seen. We were the bad guys in WW2? Lesbians made out in public and then got chopped up like in Foxe's Book of Martyrs? MAGAtards are right :marseygasden: about the Kennedy :marseyjfk: assassination?

This guy is completely fricking :marseyfuckingfunny: unhinged. Which I can forgive if you make Topkapi or Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, but I'm not going :marseysal2: to pretend the capeshit :marseyfunkobox: this tard is slinging is of any value.

You mean this one by Snyder?

Then that was written by this guy (although the JFK part was added by the filmmakers).

Alan Moore (born 18 November 1953. .

Can't blame the millenials on this one :marseylaugh:. The comic reflects a cold war era boomer's politics and fears . It's good btw.

Ohhhhhhh that makes a lot of sense. Typical seethe :marseycryinglaptop: from leftoid :marseydarkpizzashill: bongs of that generation :marseyreactor: who subconsciously were in a rage about losing :marseygambling: their empah, but they couldn't articulate this while being socialist. So they came up with this novel :marseyreading: concept that Americans :marseyamericanpearlclutch: were the real imperialists.

Now I'd challenge you to find any country :marseycatgirl5: in the world :marseyworldisavampire: touched by American :marseysouthernbelle7: "imperialism" in the 1940s that doesn't want to be a 51st state :marseyusa: now. And I'd challenge you to do the reverse with France.

Zoomer tards like to pretend this is a black :marseymabel: or white :marseysharksoup: thing because they learned history :marseyfrontiersman: from comic :marseyspiderman: books. But actually :marseyakshually: guys like Orwell :marsey1984: and Camus who were certainly left of center by European :marseyangelamerkelwave: standards were pretty :marseybravo: vocally on the Free World  side with the US against communism.

Moore often infuses his anxieties borne from Bong politics (Thatcher :marseybong: mindbroke a lot of people it seems) even in comics set in America but I wouldn't say it's anti-american specifically. It has a bleak view of humanity as a whole.

It's a critique of moral absolutism/objectivism and the nature of capeshit characters themselves. There's lots of edgy capeshit that's totally vapid and just panders to progressive/left politics( The Boys :marseypuke: ) but I wouldn't classify this as one of those imo.

I'm not a bong my people fled 100 years ago. Having said that:

There's a certain tradition in post ww2 bongs of the guy who is butthurt about the end of empah but also is butthurt about domestic :marseybardfinn: politics.

If we can be honest with ourselves, Labour :marseythebuilder: always had the wink and nod to its constituents that it was going :marseysalmaid: to be socialism :marseytrotsky: for the 40 million :marseysamhyde2: in Britain, not for the 400 million :marseysamhyde2: under :marseyhole: domination. But then immigration started.

Labour always had the wink and nod to its constituents that it was going to be socialism for the 40 million in Britain, not for the 400 million under domination.

Unfortunately, for us the socialism of the labour-cucks came here anyway.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabian_Society

As one of the founding organisations of the Labour Representation Committee in 1900, and as an important influence upon the Labour Party which grew from it, the Fabian Society has had a powerful influence on British politics. Members of the Fabian Society have included political leaders from other countries, such as Jawaharlal Nehru, who adopted Fabian principles as part of their own political ideologies. The Fabian Society founded the London School of Economics in 1895.
