90% of everything is trash, but that also means there's a few of these that could be good, even great. Only Dune 2 has a reason to exist, though.

Yeah I won't defend the goyslop but Dune really doesn't belong on this list.
If you're going to adapt that book into a movie, it really needs to be split into two (or more?) parts. This isn't a case of "let's make a sequel for the heck of it to wring more money out of the cattle."

I think normies are not ready for the brutal turn Paul's story will take with the Jihad. I hope Villeneuve really conveys the sheer amount of death and suffering that the Jihad brings to the universe.
