It was also visually unique. After years of shitty CGI movies this movie felt like a breath of fresh air for the general audience.

A good kid's movie that's fun and absurd is Lego Movie.

Barbie needed stronger writing. I didn't laugh at all except chuckling once at something Ken did.

The art design was nice, but it was something I don't need 90 minutes to appreciate.
