Have no idea why this movie was so huge. It was a solid 4 out of 10.

Because it spat out enough 101 level feminist theory that foids got to feel like sophisticated cultural critics by watching it :marseysexylibrarian:

It was also visually unique. After years of shitty CGI movies this movie felt like a breath of fresh air for the general audience.

Sure. It had a really tight aesthetic, and I'm sure part of it was also that it subverted the expectations of a product-based movie.

A good kid's movie that's fun and absurd is Lego Movie.

Barbie needed stronger writing. I didn't laugh at all except chuckling once at something Ken did.

The art design was nice, but it was something I don't need 90 minutes to appreciate.
