Daily /h/kino kino thread: Godzilla: Final Wars

Arguably the greatest cinematic achievement of all time, Godzilla: Final Wars has absolutely everything one can hope for in a piece of cinema.

There are swordfights against aliens

And so many things I can't even find screenshots for like the guy going super saiyan or the scene from the matrix where neo stops the bullets in mid air but this time they're lasers or the 36 on 1 karate fight or the constant continuity errors and things that happen for no reason at all besides that they look cool.

A timeless masterpiece and the high point of the 00s.

Oh and one time the weird mutant Japanese soldiers kill a giant lobster monster guy and one climbs on top of him and says TOO BAD I'M A VEGETARIAN and blows him up

I'm watching the latest Law & Order SVU and the r*pe victim was close to refusing to identify the male feminist because it was a BIPOC LOL

The victim's wife (it's a lesbian couple of course :marseyeyeroll:) even went on a spiel about systemic inequities of the criminal justice system

:#marseyextinction:

SVU was giga-kino from start to Stabler leaving (I think 2012)

The episode 911 is legit one of the best network tv episodes ever

SVU is the pinnacle of hangover/sick/late night half awake/lazy Sunday television

The weird leaning hard into wokeshit out of nowhere is part of its charm 🥰

The funny thing is that it was all mayos and one BIPOC when the detectives were showing the victim the pictures of the potential perps when she couldn't identify him

But in the next scene we find out that the male feminist took off his mask before :hump: so she probably saw his face

And then you immediately get the feeling that it was a :marseyextinction: moment and it turned out really to be one :marseyemojirofl: :marseyemojirofl: :marseyemojirofl: :marseyemojirofl:
