How I felt when I heard about The Witcher series. I just knew they would frick it up with questionable casting choices and atrocious writing. Shame too, the casting was on point for Geralt and Dandelion.

I liked the first season, because despite all its flaws, it showed potential.

The first scene was Geralt vs the giant ant thing.
It works well enough as a narrative device and isn't really out of character for book Calanthe. It was fine, even though the medieval combat was as shit as in most fantasy films.
