She sells custom switch plates (ranging from $22-$62) among other things. It says she's had 9035 sales since 2018.
Even if we're being extremely generous and say all of those sales are for the top dollar custom plates it comes to just over $560k. That's little over $93k per year over 6 years. Nowhere near $720 per hour.
It's fine as a fun hobby and for making some spending money on the side, but this shit rarely works out to big bucks in the long run.
Edit: Even youtubers are wise to his lol.
nobody shares a gold mine until the gold mine is all but dried up sir.... i think you sell printers
Yep. When I'm making over $100 an hour, I'm not making videos.
This is the best printer ad ever.
This is theoretical money. You can charge $720 for an hours worth of printing but they may (possibly or probably) sit in an Amazon warehouse for years unsold.
If it really worked you'd think the guy would stay silent so as to not get the market oversaturated. The 720$/hr figure is definitely just the income per 1 sale over the time taken to produce 1 unit extrapolated over whatever downtime his printers have. It's like saying that a photographer is making 1'800$/hr because it took him 10 seconds to take a picture and he managed to sell it to someone for 5$
We have those too. Typically they'll still be rectangular like the middle example there, although if there's multiple on one plate you'll typically see a margin between the two buttons.

I know many people lack taste, but there's no way there's that much excess demand for coloured light switch plates

Yeah, I found this shop on Etsy that does the same thing. https://www.etsy.com/shop/PoppyandHoneyBee

It never occured to me that Burgers use different light switches than us Europoors.
It feels like every day I learn that Burgerland is more alien than I thought.
