This is why good cinema isn't made anymore. If someone tries to defend a good scene for once redditors will go through your post history and try to discredit your opinions. The show is called "The Boys", and while I have prime I only watch it through youtube clips because 99 percent of the show is shit, but sometimes they make the villains unintentionally cool like with soldier boy and the deep, and I like going to the discussion forums and supporting the Villains for the purpose of incitement. In this most recent argument I was talking about how badass the Deep was. He's a bit of an butthole, but he's charming. Last episode he finally got a good moment which prompted my defense of him. It starts here with one redditor explaining "The Peak" nickname as "ironic glazing" rather than the genuine admiration that the deep has been garnishing recently. I of course let him know that he was wrong and received angry comments from redditors going through my post history.

It's not ironic for me. I love the character and he was actually bad butt this scene.

After I made this comment I received this message and I attempted to stir the pot a bit more.
