Idk about the first part but I didn't mind the latter. I was fine with the Dougie stuff since it made it more impactful when Coop actually came back. I respect Lynch for dabbing on nostalgiastrags who just wanted to see everyone doing the same thing again 25 years later. You can never go back home.
