[THIA/TESSA] – This casting is for a dual character, and describes both characters. Character identifies as female or non-binary, open ethnicity, mid 20s – mid 40s. Thia has spent most of her life in a laboratory and is now embarking on her first big adventure in the world. She is incredibly smart, witty, enthusiastic, and unflappable. She has an innate disregard for danger, not because she's fearless, but simply because she's naive. Strong comedy chops required. // The other sister, Tessa, has a militant intensity when it comes to achieving her family's goals and mission objectives. The funny thing is that the first Predator movie was already partly a satire of macho action movies. John McTiernan made that pretty clear in interviews. But John McTiernan is an all-time top-tier action movie genius (the man made Predator and Die Hard back-to-back), so the first Predator movie works both as a satire and as just straight-up one of the best action movies ever made. It doesn't preach any political messages in an obnoxious way.
It seems that lately the wokeoids have gotten hold of this great franchise and completely shit it up, because they do not understand how to just make a fricking great movie. Like communists trying to grow wheat and corn according to ideological principles of collective farming or Lysenkoism, they don't understand the actual topic that they are dealing with. For them, making a great action movie is an alien concept, they only understand how to ape other people's work on a surface level while pooping it up with political propaganda.
