Have you played the restored content mod for KOTOR 2? There's an entire story arc where you go to the HK factory that didn't make it into the original release.

It didn't make it in for a reason. Well a couple reasons. The guy who ran Obsidian would always over-promise on how fast they could get a game done and they always ran out of time and had to cut content. Of all the planets in KOTOR2 that one they felt was the least interesting so they chose that one to cut.
That's one part of the restored content mod that I'd rather have left unrestored. IIRC it's almost all just combat because they hadn't fleshed out the story that much before they canceled that planet. And we're not playing KOTOR2 for the combat.

Still crazy that they made Kotor 2 in 9 months though.

Absolutely fricking nuts. Writing out all those dialogue trees, debugging them, and getting them voiced in that time is insane.

There wasn't much dialogue that I recall either, and part of what makes HK fun is his dynamic with humans. I know someone who played SWTOR (the MMO) and he said that there was a whole bunch of HK content in one of the expansions, but I've never felt compelled to investigate what happens there.

I played SWTOR quite a bit because I like the aesthetics (and I am fricking amazing at Galactic Starfighter). Never even paid attention to the story. Most of it you get through the raids, but if you don't have a bunch of friends who all want to go on SWTOR raids with you at the same time then you're doing them with strangers and there's a 100% chance that they've already done it and want to skip through the story parts.

Lol I thought most people just played it for the character stories. I quite liked them. SWTOR feels like a time capsule for old star wars and a sliver of old bio-ware.

I like the character stories and hate all the MMO stuff. It's just WoW but worse.

Some of them were really good, like the Imperial agent of course. And I liked the one where Tara Strong does a push-pull thing with you. Say what you will about the woman but she really knows how to use her voice.

SWTOR: Star Wars The Old Republic. The character stories(the best part) is free I believe.

I stopped gaming by the time it came out but probably would've tried it when I was young. My friend was saying the content was good especially in the original release but that the budget wasn't there to continue individualized stories for the different character classes, as I recall. He did say that the community wasn't very friendly to people trying to get into it, and I was never a PC g*mer to feel drawn to raiding or whatever.

One of my favorite characters from any media anywhere. The combination of being charming, loyal, and completely sociopathic about killing. Reminds me of a cat I used to know.
