Not much box office news this week, but apparently Joker 2 is a contender for biggest second weekend drop of all time so we'll just have to see It could also surpass The Marvels as the biggest sequel box office drop of all time.
Meanwhile ticket pre-sales for both Wicked and Gladiator 2 are apparently pretty good. This bothers me because those movies look fricking stupid
Anyway, what is everyone in !kino watching this week?

Hey we watch that one too. Been a fan since the movie first dropped. I'm old enough to have watched Flight of the Conchords when it was coming out.

Once it's over I think we're out of proof that writers can still make good shows :(
Really interested to see how they wrap it up. Guillermowimping out of his vampire powers makes me think they'll end it with something awful like he retires from familiaring and finds a boyfriend and they live happily ever after but rationally I think that's just my pessimism talking. Even the wimping out was done in a fun and funny way.

There will always be HGTV and Food Network programming to fill the void. I think Fargo S5 also just came out, didn't it?
I mildly disagree that it's gotten better with time though, I thought seasons 1-2 were peak and they've focused too much on Guillermo and Colin Robinson to the exclusion of the group dynamic as time goes on. Haven't seen any of this year's stuff yet so hopefully you're right.
Edit: this year's stuff being S4 and 5, so really I just mean that I thought season 3 was worse.

I did feel like Colin was on the verge of being taken to an extreme because he was one of those rare breakout hit side characters who the fans loved but they very unexpectedly just did a nice long arc with him and resisted the trap of turning it into The Colin Robinson Show and that was that. That season actually had my favorite episode, the one with the home improvement show
I do understand the focus on Guillermo though; it wasn't meant to be an endless show, they have had a clear End in mind and they've been building to that and it, naturally, is centered around Gizmo. I can't think of another comedy series with an overall narrative and a clear beginning and end and while Guillermo isn't my favorite character by any means, I don't see any other way it could be done aside from the show just being season after season of hijinks until it goes to shit and gets cancelled.
My only criticism of WWDITS is there has been only one Jackie Daytona episode, I have no actual complaints and every episode is a treat. They even manage to make p-dophile Nick Kroll fun.
