watched Blade Runner 2049. It's really good but the ending was kinda dumb and left me thinking really that's it?

Classic Twilight Zone will always be the best dystopian TV content. @Rescarer0

The Expanse is kinda dystopian and was one of the only good new sci-fi shows in many years. As far as movies what have you seen? Escape from New York is great, Snowpiercer was dumb but fun, the original Planet of the Apes series is more enjoyable than you might think. I'm assuming you've seen most of the blockbusters from the last few decades.

I guess more broadly I like mind frick scifi movies. Like the groundhog day time loops, or the world taking a radical turn technologically/socially. Twilight zone is actually a perfect example cause each episode is just an interesting what if concept. Though it's a little dated for my slop tastes.

I liked Snowpiercer a lot, Edge of Tomorrow, Interstellar, Truman Show, Hunger Games, Mad Max, Looper, Matrix, Judge Dredd

for TV I did like The Expanse, Westworld, Severance, Counterpart, Black Mirror, Silo, and sometimes I'll watch older corny shows like Firefly/Farscape/ST:TNG
