Liked the first one, jumped on the second on name alone. I think I like it even better than the original? It's been a minute since I've rewatched Smile so I'd have to watch them back-to-back to be sure, but I really like the main character in this one. The lead actress knocked it out of the park and the movie did a great job of making me care what happens to her. Appropriately scary, left the theater all nerves. I like that while every other part of the film industry is in shambles and can't make a decent film to save their lives, the horrorslop industry just keeps chugging along doing exactly what it's always done.
