FROM season 3 finale was great, lots of stuff was actually finally revealed. It's a shame this show isn't watched by more people it's locked behind MGM+ streaming service which nobody wants to pay for.
I enjoyed it as well. It's far from a perfect show but the horror and mystery is still fun. They could very easily frick up the ending with a show like this but I am along for the ride.
What I like about it the most I think is that unlike every other show like it the characters actually disclose things that have happened to them a compare notes, or get angry about how absurd shit is like Jade yelling at the kids to give him more info than "just fricking Anghkooey!"
I've never thought any of the seasons were slogs tbh they're only 10 episode seasons. But if you thought S2 was somehow boring then I hate to say S3 is more of the same.
I get useless subplots that lead nowhere, nothingburgers and shit that gets forgotten about...
But it's literally just relationship drama, teen drama/teen angst, and lesbian x junkie drama.
The vampires didn't kill anyone in like 7 episodes bro.
I don't care how hard they try, cicadas can't kill a human person they can't even bite or scratch.
This season's monster was a literal music box. Main character literally limped after a shotgun blast and smashed it to pieces.
It killed an immortal vampire but it cannot kill a junkie and an angsty teenager.
Main character's armor so thick he can survive a shotgun blast and a venomous spider bite.
The show's so bad bro. How do you come back from this? How is it even horror when main characters are never under any threat? Literally as scary as a Disney haunted hause attraction. You must be stunted or 13 to enjoy this show.
Eh yeah Boyd getting a shotgun blast to the shoulder and just shaking it off was pretty lame tbh. The cicada and the hostages in the dungeon leads to more in S3 but it's not resolved. There's a ton of reveals in S3 tho where they explain stuff about what's going on (the symbol, bottle tree, who the children are and who the monsters are) and some big deaths or at least one.

S2 was such a slog.
Yea no, I watch this show to see teens get married, not uncover the mystery...
