Years ago, Redditors did not approve when I said that conversion therapy was a dumb fraud, and while it should be banned for under-18s, adults should be free to make that choice.

True, quack bullshit like Crystal Healing, Aromatherapy, Dianetics, Reiki, Chinese Traditional Medicine, Gay Conversion Therapy, and more shit like that are obviously charlatan r-sluration that should be mocked and exposed as the frauds they are, that said however, people who deliberately want to fall for scams despite knowing that they are scams should be free to do so, the same applies with Crypto and Multi-Level Marketing - expose them as frauds and warn society to avoid them, particularly the elderly when it comes to them getting scammed a lot, but let the r-slurs who knowingly want to get scammed get scammed, it's not illegal to be r-slurred, at least for now it isn't.
