Nobody will turn up to watch this and it'll be blamed on racism: the white audience didn't want to see a black superhero. There won't be a word said about the black audience not showing up, either. If they can make a decent one, I'd be amazed and pretty happy. The previous adaptations have been terrible in different ways, they just don't know how to tread the fine line between being too serious and too campy. You need a decent Doctor Doom to be the antagonist to Reed Richards, and you have to make Reed not too lame without going to the opposite extreme and changing the character.

I don't even know how they keep messing up Reed Richards. Modern day iteration of him is pretty simple. A guy who is smart enough to bun down the world, and would have been cold and calculating enough to burn down the world and rule its ashes, but became soft and dignified after having a family. Still the smartest men in the world though, juggling all of his free time between saving the world and his family and does not regret a single moment of that busy schedule.
Then they should make a parody version of Reed Richards which is just Reed from the original classics going," Sue you cannot do that. You are a woman."
