My favorite part of capeshit flopping is the cognitive dissonance of them going "why did blue beetle/she hulk/miss marvel fail? The comics are great!" and its all hacky bullshit like Hulk's secret cousin he gave his blood to. It's the epitome of hacky and seeing audiences outright reject it is cathartic. Because even if marvel kept the movies "good", the actual material worth adapting is incredibly minimal aside from Spiderman and the X Men which have already had a good chunk of their stories told. Fantastic Four has like two good villains
Red hulk is kinda interesting since its the most anti hulk guy becoming hulk but the issue is thunderbolt ross has been a super minor character in the mcu so the impact of hulks #1 hater becoming him is lost !comicshitters

You could tell they had absolutely no faith when all of the marketing was just "dude Red Hulk is in this, he's like Hulk but he's red"
