Why don't movies look like *moves* anymore? An insight less about slop and more about digital lighting

Everybody got lazy because of CG. I disagree that nobody knows how to set up shots anymore, student films are filled with that kind of stuff they just stop doing it once they're in the workforce.

Ironically CG was supposed to save tons of money but once Hollywood become dependent on it the studios that handled it raised their rates and movies are now more expensive than ever. Not everything needs to be practical effects but green screens and CGI should be used only when needed and it should all be done in-house.

The VFX in modern big-budget films is just so out of control. It seems that everything is shot in front of a green screen and stitched together in post.

I have talked to carp many times in the past. She eventually admitted to being a shareblue operative (which is how she can be always online). Based on her behavior, her goal is obvious- use the clique of homofascists she has gathered to swamp any bastion of free speech to get it discredited and either have it self-destruct or get banned by big tech censors.
