idk it was pretty good I guess. Maybe played it too safe for a Deadpool movie? The references and cameos were all superhero movies I grew up watching tho so I guess the nostalgia bait worked on me, I loved all of it. There are all the obvious ones like Blade, Johnny Storm (liked the fakeout), etc, but also some really cool lower key cameos like the OG actor for Sabretooth and Pyro from the original X-Men trilogy. Setting the end credits to Green Day was maybe a bit sappy but again I didn't hate it. Hugh Jackedman looks like a completely different person in the first X-Men movie lol.
Some random thoughts:
Making fun of multiverse movies through fourth wall breaking and then making a bog standard multiverse movie was certainly a choice.
Comic size accurate Logan was the funniest bit in the entire movie imo I died laughing. Deadpool even called him short king lol.
Second best bit was Wesley Snipes saying "there's only one Blade" and Deadpool looking at the camera.
Even in full Deadpool costume Blake Lively is disgustingly hot.
I'm not convinced that was a real dog, she was so r-slurred lol.
I'm like 75% sure at least some of Hugh Jackman's muscles were fake. He's ripped but there's no way he's that ripped still.
Cassandra Nova please sit on my face.
Loved The Cavillrine.
It was cool to see Gambit finally get some decent representation in the live action movies. They did him so dirty in Wolverine. It's kinda funny that Deadpool and Gambit were both jokes in Wolverine and now 15 years later they finally get a decent movie together. I'm not convinced that Channing Tatum could have carried an entire movie by himself like was planned but as a funny little cameo I thought it worked great.
Would have liked more Colossus.
The post credits scene where everyone was trying not to laugh while Chris Evans goes off was funny.

I saw Deadpool and Wolverine in theaters and, well, it was exactly what I expected. The movie is dumb af but Ryan Reynolds does his best and the movie had a decent amount of slashing and stabbing
I've also been watching DCAU stuff like Batman Beyond and Justice League. I almost forgot that these shows were actually pretty good
Capeshit aside I saw some Colombo episodes I don't really watch much of those crime dramas but Colombo is pretty good. I also kind of like the Rockford Files. Fun fact: DCAU Lex Luthor is based on actor Telly Savalas who is famous for Kojak, another crime drama from that era.
Anyway what is everyone in !kino watching?
@Aevann please pin

It feels like a fever dream, two abysmal movies sandwiched between the much better Keaton and and Bale movies.
Tommy Lee Jones as Two Face? Jim Carrey as The Riddler? Arnold as Mr. Freeze? Sure why not.
Batman and Robin was so bad it killed the franchise for almost a decade. There was apparently a third movie planned with Joel Schumacher set to direct again but that got canceled pretty quick aftter Batman and Robin came out. Coolio was supposed to star in it as Scarecrow lol.

These are 7 different shows, not House of the Dragon. The Nine Voyages, Nymeria's story 10,000 Ships, a Yi-Ti show, and some other things.
God darned, who cares about the Yi-Ti chinkshit and the Rhoynar
Wish they'd make a Robert's Rebellion videogame too
"We believe we know four of these projects, Aegon the Conqueror and Ten Thousand Ships as possible live-action entries and The Golden Empire and Sea Snake as possible animated ones, but whether that's still the plan is unclear. Martin previously seemed to say two of four animated shows were scrapped, but that may have now changed.
!bookworms !kino aren't you excited about this Marvelification?
SHOWS ABOUT THE VELARYONS AND NYMERIA OF THE THOUSAND SHIPS AND THE YI-TI
Yi-Ti show? About fricking who LOL
A fantasy pseudo-Asia, most likely. Why not, shoot it in Japan or Korea with locals, could be great, totally blank canvas.
Lmao, I hope it gets greenlighted because is gonna attract seethe and flop hard.
ASOIAF is the new Marvel franchise. Literal slop
I hope they have a scene where an Unsullied flies and some guy yells out "they fly now?" and Aeriana Targaryen says "they fly now!"
Not even redditors can't stand it lmao
the "Aeriana Targaryen" was unironically mentioned in HOTD btw

Twink on the left gets a time-traveling radio that belongs to Most Generic Korean Ajusshi on the right, and stuck in the middle is Korean Emily Blunt from Sicario and together they solve cold cases that the cops in the 80s and 90s were simply too fricking lazy to solve at first but was to cover up Chaebol/Political frickywuckys.
This is a 6.5-7 out of 10. Hard stop. Anyone saying this is a 8 or 9 is a fricking gookaboo and should be slapped and their opinion disregarded.
The story is fine. Its engaging, and interesting enough once you figure out the gimmick. Funnily pretty accurate to the Gook detectives I've met. They get so annoyed IRL when they have to do actual legwork and can't just take free gifts and bribes.
Its just every time Korean Emily Blunt from Sicario tries to be a cop, she fricks up so baaaaaaaaaaad. Multiple times in fact! Not even as a rookie! As a legitimate multi-decade veteran too!
Its actually infuriating.
It literally justifies why Gook Police used to shun foid officers in the field. In fact, it will justify any prejudices most people hold against foid cops. Shits that infuriating.
Honestly, I think this kdrama actually made me a bit more misogynist through Korean Emily Blunt.
6.75/10
Watch it with someone who thinks women belong in the police forces!

Because every time I start watching it, it's so fricking unbearably over the top dramatic shit.
It's literally the pagliacci joke reiterated over 6 entire seasons with the Goodfellas chick and Anthony "ayyo Toney, where's the gabagool" Soprano going
"Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says, 'Treatment is simple. Great clown Gabagool is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up.' Man bursts into tears. Says, 'But doctor…I am Gabagool.' Good joke. Everybody laugh. Doctor gets r*ped. Play the rolling Stones' Thru and Thru. Footage of waves. Cut to black."
What the frick was their problem? Did the writers, directors think that just because it was mobslop (the goyslop version of the 90's) people would just automatically praise it? (And it worked too). But it looks so comedic now.
How is this not seen as an overly melodramatic piece of shit?
How is this even a top 25 show of all time, let alone compare with The Wire, Chernobyl or Band of Brothers?

funniest shit I've ever seen, I laugh my butt off so hard every single time a movie uses this one
I listen for it like the Wilhelm Scream
I cannot enjoy a movie unless they say this line, because the good guy always knows he's about to get in trouble with the person he was just talking about, and he totally does
I am so glad that Disney incorporated this line into Mousepool x Wolverine because it made the movie so much better

As unpopular as it seems to be already, it would fit the themes of the multiverse saga much more if this was a Tony variant. It would also make much more sense making RDJ the actor.
Introduce this Doom as a Tony variant who, idk, his parents brought to Europe as an infant and were assassinated, or as a Iron Man who went crazy, and save MCU Doom for the real Victor.
Does anyone else hates this "multiverse" bullshit? So repetitive, just make standalone films for once.
What not enough people are talking about it how insane it is that we're gonna have Pedro Pascal and RDJ bring the Reed/Doom relationship to the big screen. Like… the thought of that is insane and very exciting to me personally
I'm believing this is a CW kinda thing. Doom is from the F4 world and is a doppelgänger of Tony. He LOOKS like Iron Man, but he is 100% Doom. There'll be a moment where his mask is broken and characters are shocked to see the face of Iron Man.
I hope so, lmao, I can imagine the seethe
How many post credit scenes and films will set up Secret Wars
We can presume fairly safely that there will be post credits scenes in Brave New World, Thunderbolts, and FF that all point towards Doomsday, as all those Thanos/Infinity Rings build ups ahead of Infinity Wars
FILMS TO SET UP OTHER FILMS!
