He even (allegedly) flexes his intelligence and understanding of the science of the time by bringing up different timezones and the differences in star cover, both of which change as he exits heck at a different point on the planet, which of course is only possible on a spherical earth
So you could make an argument that you have to have a very high IQ to understand Divine Comedy
