Deep in my slumber
I had an ill-advised wonder
How fricking

And more friction that lotion
I imagine her starting to kneel.

But then things go sideways
And I’m lost in a head haze
As my vision starts to dim.

I go limp in my hand
As I stare ‘cross the sands
Of this desert of disparate limbs.

“What is the place?”
Naked fear on my face,
As I search for any reprieve.

But the horizon extends
With more horrors than ends
And I’m foolish to think I could leave.

It takes over three years
And ten million new fears
Before my mind is wretched free.

Scarred by the visions I see.
