Yea I tried to go to a Barnes and nobles and all the good science and computer books were entirely gone. Not even a+ training books. The closest I got was fairy lore of mushrooms (I thought it was a real mushroom guide)

I went last Christmas for their annual hardcover sale and the history section was exclusively American WW2 history, same with the literature section, it was all just modern female fiction and ridiculously expensive copies of English Classics.

Seriously. Went to one recently for the first time in maybe 10 years (who tf would buy books from them when they're half the price on amazon, ebay, etc?) because I had to kill time and I struggled to even find interesting browsing to kill a half hour. Most of those coffee table hardcovers on various dude stuff (history, cars, planes, etc.) were gone. Those used to take up tables and tables of space. However, if I bought all the stationary and writing utensils in the store I would've needed three cars to bring it all home.
