for those who don't remember, Retchen is (obviously) a author who wrote a while ago a book called "Manhunt", which (obviously) was a pretty shit post-apo story where testosterone turn men into male feminist gorilla apes and the main character that are two (obviously) that need HRT to stay alive (muh metaphores) (obviously).
the whole thing was weird coomer shit that also for some reason had J.K. Rowling hide ina castle and die in what is quite probably some of the worst dream-fulfillement self-masturbatory fantasy i've ever seen.
there's also another book by the same author called Cuckoo , which is also shit, has a bunch of conversion camp stuff going on in it, an obsession with women having their periods and ends with like two thirds of the cast randomly ing out or fricking dying lol

Did the Wachowski brothers make any good movie apart from The Matrix? I can't think of any.
V for Vendetta was pretty good (though hasn't aged well), but they only wrote it, they didn't direct.

Speed Racer is either one of the best movies ever made or completely unwatchable trash depending on if you expect your movies to have a plot and if you're susceptible to seizures.

Even the matrix was only one actually great movie tbh.

I say one and a half, because everything in the Matrix worked for me, just that they spent less and less time in there as the films progressed.
Bound was great but pre-Matrix. I don't know I've seen anything non-Matrix from them. Didn't they do Cloud Atlas? Though they also did Sense8, and that was loved by the creepiest coomers I know.

I like Jupiter Ascending, but it needs to be watched with the understanding that it's a spiritual adaptation of a 13-year-old girl's Wattpad story. You're getting a window into the weird particularities of somebody else's fantasy. A lot of female nerds actually liked the movie, even if they agreed there was a cringe factor, because they thought it connected with a sort of half-buried late childhood fantasy life that almost never gets depicted onscreen. You have to give credit to a couple old trains for being able to get into that mental space at all.
I'm sure people will point out Twilight or whatever, but both Twilight and the vast majority of fantasy romance stuff follows an older teenage/adult imaginary landscape. JA is simpler, it's a movie about a cool space boyfriend who saves you from bad guys. The drama is either completely external (oh no, the evil prince of House Abraxas is forcing me to marry him!) or internal (What if I'm not good enough?), but not interpersonal.

The purpose of art is to learn about other people
If every movie was like this, it wouldn't be interesting, but pretty much no movie is like this
