new :marseytrain: :marseytrain: :marseytrain: book adaptation coming soon

for those who don't remember, Retchen is (obviously) a :marseytrain2: author who wrote a while ago a book called "Manhunt", which (obviously) was a pretty shit post-apo story where testosterone turn men into male feminist gorilla apes :rape: :marseycoomer2: :marseycoomer2: and the main character that are two :marseytrain2: :marseytrain2: (obviously) that need HRT to stay alive (muh metaphores) (obviously).

the whole thing was weird coomer shit that also for some reason had J.K. Rowling :marseyrowling: hide ina castle and die in what is quite probably some of the worst dream-fulfillement self-masturbatory fantasy i've ever seen.

there's also another book by the same author called Cuckoo :marseysoyhype:, which is also shit, has a bunch of conversion camp stuff going on in it, an obsession with women having their periods :marseynoooticer::marseynoooticer: and ends with like two thirds of the cast randomly :marseytrain2:ing out :bardfinn: or fricking dying lol

:!marseytrain:s 🤝 post apocalyptic

Why is this so common? fallout new vegas especially. Real women don't get OBSESSED with this genre like they do. it's just a regular subgenre, interesting sometimes but kind overdone.

Because it's girlboss love triangle political commentary ya fantasy slop, not a real post-apocalyptic novel. No foid would ever read Anathem.

my guess: trains are generally neurodivergent nerds, thus into technology and history so sci-fi appeals to them. add in some flavor about restarting society in rarted ways and it's a powderkeg of euphoria

Neurodivergents also appreciate the social acumen of most women and maybe a curiosity to cvvm as a woman

There's a number of trains really into post-humanism, altering the human body with technology or divorcing from it with being uploaded. It could be connected to dysphoria, tech obsession, or just exposure to sexy robots.

So they seem really drawn to cyberpunk. Not sure about the post-apocalyptic part, though.
