It would be just as ambiguous with a comma before the 'and'.

I don't care if it's used or not, but there are certain group of people who feel very strongly about the Oxford comma.

This is a classic gag. "I dedicate this book to my parents, god and ayn rand".

I always do oxford comma for readability. Unless im in an insane character limit crunch even then rewriting stuff yo be more concise is usually better.

I think they are redundant with a conjunction but I don't have a problem with them :marseyembrace:
