Frick i hate sanderson so fricking much. I kept getting tricked into reading his tumblr/livejournal fan fiction bullshit.

Youre a lot smarter than me. I have a lot of complaints about his books and use every bit of restraint i have not to rant about how bad he is.
The only thing dumber than his writing is his fans. I'm not even pooping you, two books after he announced he was inventing psychiatry i found two fans arguing if he was trying to become the first psychiatrist. Since he didn't use the word psychiatrist they thought they had discovered a very vague bit of foreshadowing by the author when it is a hamfisted attempt at getting livejournal readers.

This reminds me of the article on Wired written a year or two ago that was basically a reviewer pooping on him and his fanbase.
Its funny cause I completely agree that Sanderson is a hack but his fans are largely just normies or normie adjacent people who enjoy YA level writing centered around fairly straightforward fantasy plots and characters. I can't hate him, he's too bland and his fans are content with the slop he provides without being obnoxious like Marvel movie or anime fans.
