Nikolai Apollonovich and a glowie go to a bar, hilarity ensues. The footnotes mentioned that Bely referenced Dostoevsky and it shows, Pavel Yakovlevich conversation with Nikolai parallels that of Profiry Petrovich from C&P with Rodion Raskolnikov.

Not much to say about this one. Feels like the story is finally beginning. I think I need to reread Nikolai's dream though cuz I tend to lose focus when he starts ranting about Mongolians.

On a separate note, Russians are so neurodivergent with the patronymic thing, Sofya Petrovna still calling her own husband Sergei Sergeevich for instance. I know that it is the formal way of address in Russian but is still funny.

>Akademkogorodok, Nikita Sergeevich

>And that?

>Artek, Nikita Sergeevich

>and that?

>Dishes, Nikita Sergeevich

>excuse me comrades, can we go

>Don't worry Nikita Sergeevich, we're the first in orbit anyway.
