Anybody up for a rousing game of Marcheckers?

I didn't feel like tediously lasing a whole set of checker pieces so 3 will have to do.

Board is 3/4 inch white pine cut to 11.5x11.5, stained with Minwax ebony color and finished with a coating of Decoart Duraclear high gloss.

It took about 3 and a half hours to burn on my Ortur laser master 2 pro, I could have gone longer for a cleaner finish but frick that and I kinda like how the finished version is "cloudy".

Tokens are just some rounds I found at Joannes. They only took 10 minutes but were kinda a b-word to line up correctly, I think that's a software issue however. You can see 1 of them is kinda offset.

Sanded down the sides and applied another coat of stain for a nice contrast.

Overall I'm kinda happy how it came out as shitpost but I wouldn't feel happy with this quality if I was selling it or something.
