It's not hard, just basic Adobe Illustrator work. I have a "puppet" file that has properly grouped "parts" (head, body, arms, etc.) and I just create a new file, paste the puppet, paste whatever references, then make the props. Once I've finished, I select-all the marsey, pathfinder -> merge, set fill to empty, set stroke to white - 15px - rounded - outside aligned, then center it and put its layer behind the marsey for the sticker effect.
I tried making a basic flag Marsey in Photopea recently and I wasn't even able to do that. I got the inside of it cleared out, but I couldn't get the flag onto it properly. Am I hopeless?
Well, Photopea is mainly a raster program, which isn't quite as beginner friendly. If you're actually interested, I'd recommend reading out the pen tool works. It's not nearly as simple as in Illustrator, but it will allow you to create vector images, which are far more forgiving when it comes to fixing mistakes, etc.

All is forgiven. Any chance you could one day teach me how to make Marseys too? I would love to be able to make them myself.

Hey little buddy, you still working on that romani flag? It's pretty easy to do in raster editors like GIMP or Photopea.
I can give you a quick tutorial... once you pay me those coins you owe me.

Yes, I know that communism is a joke, but I still wanted a regular Soviet Union flag and a regular gypsy flag one.

You need to phrase the instructions as if you're giving them to an neurodivergent who was locked in a small cell with no tech for almost 10 years
