And it wasn't "dark fantasy", they had their own term for it, iirc it was "Mythic Europe". You little queer boys might at least appreciate the echoes of it that are seen in the works of Josh Sawyer, best known from Fallout: New Vegas. Who recently made Pentititium or whatever the frick it's called as his homage to Darklands.

The thing I say is cool is getting homages made to it by cool people.
