I think it's good for people to actually think Hitler had more than zero "good ideas." It's hard for "never again" to mean anything if you think he was some sort of chud antichrist who would only come back as a reincarnation or something.
However, I doubt the respondents to this poll are thinking that Hitler "had some good ideas" because they see him as a complex figure who was mostly bad.

Yea, this. Highly unlikely they're thinking of Hitler being in favor of animal cruelty laws or whatever as okay…highly likely they're thinking of pissing off the grown ups by trying to be edgy. Teens gunna be contrarians, sun gunna rise.
Edit: actually this just jogged an old memory. A teacher of mine was very anti-Nazi, but was born in Nazi Germany. He always claimed that if Hitler died before invading Poland there'd be a statue of him in every street corner of Germany. His point wasn't that Hitler was a great guy, but that he had attractive qualities and policies that helped propel him to power. He didn't rise for no reason. His further point was to be cautious who we lend political support to, because someone who seems to be creating solutions today may well be leading the people down a very dark path tomorrow. A much more complex message than Hitler and Germans = evil and important to recall, I think.
